This light, clear rum is distilled from molasses in modern column stills five times for a very clean, smooth flavor profile. Initial aromas of butter and vanilla lead to subtle hints of citrus and cane. On the palate, the rum is sweet with a light viscosity. Flavors of vanilla and cream soda dominate before a suggestion of pepper and spice is revealed. The finish is quite smooth, perhaps surprising for a rum that has not aged in oak barrels.
