Michael David Winery Lust Zinfandel, Lodi, California, 2013 (750ml)

Winemaker's Notes
Seductive as its name, the 2013 Lust fades from complete darkness at its core to a dark garnet rim. Aromas of fresh smashed blackberry, brandied cherries, incense and caramel. Full bodied and voluptuous on the mouth with concentrated flavors of ripe black fruits, cocoa, black cherry and toasted mesquite.

Critical Acclaim
Robert Parker 93 points
The Wine Advocate - "The 2013 Zinfandel Lust is a whopper (16.9% natural alcohol), but with pure, rich, full-bodied black cherry fruit, incense, camphor and a touch of toasty oak. It is concentrated, thick and juicy. This is a big, powerful, heady wine that, remarkably, is not the least bit hot or overripe in spite of rather incredible levels of potency. Drink it over the next 7-8 years."
