Winemaker Notes
Beautiful aromas of stone fruit, honeysuckle, and citrus travel from the glass on the first swirl of this straw-hued Chardonnay. Upon entry, the texture is pleasing with racy acidity that is rounded out by the impact of the wine’s surlees aging. Peach, Apricot, grapefruit rind, lemon curd and a profound minerality make a statement on the palate with flavors that last from start to finish.

COMMENTARY: The 2019

EnRoute Chardonnay is an excellent example of the quality found in the Russian River Valley. TASTING NOTES: This wine deftly combines ripe fruit, a firm palate, and a pleasing bite in the aftertaste. Its aromas and flavors of apple, peach, and chalk should pair it nicely with pan-fried Petrale. (Tasted: September 5, 2019, San Francisco, CA)
