The 2018 Red Blend Trio checks in as a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, and close to 10% each of Cabernet Franc and Malbec, with the balance Petit Verdot. Lots of mulberries, red plums, tapenade, tobacco, and roasted herb notes all emerge from this beauty, which hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a round and expansive texture, ripe tannins, and a great finish. As Bordeaux blends from Napa go, it's a pretty darn good value to enjoy over the coming 10-12 years.
