The 2022 California Chardonnay was harvested in cool temperatures then gently whole-cluster pressed into stainless steel tanks for fermentation. Then, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation and aging on French oak for several months to impart a supple mouthfeel and to add structure and depth to the wine.
Lovely aromas of chamomile, lemon curd and rosemary. Medium-bodied and focused, with a supple finish. Nice length. Drink now.
Delicious Danish pastry aromas and rich baked apple and nutmeg flavors make this full-bodied wine hard to put down. Plenty of oak spices from vanilla to nutmeg meet butter and hazelnut flavors on the palate. It feels creamy and layered.
