Winemaker's Notes Boldly layered and thick wine with a large framework of blackberry, black currant and roasted coffee bean. The wine doesn't offer much in the way of complexity or even elegance, but neither is it engineered for those things. It serves as an easy-drinking, well-extracted and soft red wine to pair with grilled meats or hearty homemade pasta sauce.
Cantina Zaccagnini is immediately recognizable thanks to the small grapevine cutting that is affixed with straw to each bottle. This is a nice decorative touch that gives the estate a distinct identity.
