Winemaker Notes

Ruby red in color, intoxicating aromas of dried black cherries, cassis, truffles, and chocolate fudge leap out of the glass. The resulting wine is silky, luscious, and complex, with a lingering finish.

Pair this wine with osso bucco, Bordelaise sauces, wild boar ravioli, or grilled cowboy ribeyes.

Blend: 80% Corvina, 10% Rondinella, 5% Croatina, 5% Oseleta

    Very complex nose of bay leaves, dried prunes and blackberry jam, enhanced with leather and a bit of restrained chocolate. Velvety tannins flow on the palate, with a full body, zesty and cleansing acidity and a savory finish of toasted black pepper and chocolate. Drinkable now, but best from 2029.
